THE CLERK AND RECORDERS OFFICE WILL BE CLOSED ON ELECTION DAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2014. 

THIS WILL INCLUDE MOTOR VEHICLE AND RECORDING.

WE WILL ONLY BE CONDUCTING ELECTION BUSINESS.



The Clerk & Recorder's Office provides crucial services for many of life's most important occasions. The Clerk & Recorder is responsible for four functional areas:
  • Elections - voter registration and election administration
  • Recordings - real property, marriage licenses & civil unions
  • Issuing business and liquor licenses, and birth and death certificates
  • Motor Vehicle titling and registration

Motor Vehicle
The Motor Vehicle office is responsible for titling and registering automobiles. This office does NOT issue driver's licenses. Please visit the State Driver's License office in Frisco if you wish to obtain or renew your state issued driver's license.  

Please note, the Motor Vehicle office is now located in Breckenridge, on the main level of the Old County Courthouse, 208 Lincoln Ave., Breckenridge, CO.
