Youth and Family Services is dedicated to providing unduplicated prevention, intervention, and referral services to address the needs of children, youth and families of Summit County.

Vision: That all children, youth and families in Summit County are empowered to lead stable healthy and successful lives.

Youth and Family Services staff address these needs through facilitation and coordination of programs such as Mountain Mentors, Strengthening Families Outreach Program, Community Playgroups, School-Based and After-School Programming and Youth Development Programs. The staff also collaborates and networks with community organizations to identify and optimize resources to encourage Summit County children, youth and families to meet the challenges of maintaining a positive lifestyle.

Youth and Family Services also houses the coordinator for Childcare Licensing of homes and centers, Healthy Futures Initiative and Make a Difference Day
