Free Transportation in Summit County
Summit Stage offers free bus service to ski areas, downtown areas, shopping centers, medical centers, and some residential areas in Summit County.

Mission

Summit Stage provides free scheduled public transportation and ADA paratransit service for Summit County residents and visitors.

New Summit Stage Services for Winter 2014-2015
The Summit Stage is offering several improvements to its services this winter.

Morning Skier Express Buses

  • Breckenridge Express: departs Silverthorne Station at 8:10 am, Frisco Station at 8:22 am, School Road at 8:24 am, Granite Street at 8:27 am, arriving Breckenridge Station at 8:50 am.
  • Keystone Express: departs Ptarmigan at 8:35 am, Silverthorne Station at 8:47 am, Summit Place 8:49 am, Lake Dillon Drive 8:54 am, Lake Dillon Fire & Rescue at 8:55 am, arriving River Run in Keystone at 9:07 am. 

New rush hour buses provide more frequent service during the morning commute.

  • Silverthorne Loop departs 7:15 am
  • Wildernest Loop departs 7:45 am
  • Copper departs 8:15 am

New bus stop on the Frisco - Breckenridge route.

  • Golf Course Stop (Tiger Road & Hwy. 9)
  • Southbound :16 and :46 (daytime) :46 (nighttime)
  • Northbound :20 and :50 (daytime) :50 (nighttime)

Lake County Link - Leadville to Frisco

  • New Earlier Departures
  • Early bus departs Kum & Go at 5:50 am
  • Later bus departs Kum & Go at 7:20 am

Lake County Link - Frisco to Leadville 

  • Afternoon departure times unchanged.

Lake County Link - Service to CMC Leadville Campus

  • Morning service at CMC campus at 7:10 am (later bus)
  • Afternoon service to CMC campus departs Frisco at 4:00 pm; departs Copper at 4:20 pm; arrives CMC at 5:05 pm
