CICP & Early Head Start
CICP (Community Infant/Child Program)
The Community Infant / Child program provides services to English and Spanish speaking families that need more parenting techniques and support. CICP is a strengths based program that focuses on and encourages the attachment between caregivers and infant / toddlers. This program is oriented for those families that need more intensive in-home parenting education and support.
The CIC Program has been implemented in Summit County since 2000, and it has a proven track record of success in improving parenting skills that lead to the reduction of child abuse and neglect. This program serves children ages 0 to 5 as well as pregnant women.
