Summit County Resource Allocation Park oversees the actual recycling operations.  High Country Conservation Center (HC3) provides a great deal of information on recycling and waste disposal topics. HC3 also works on Green Building, Efficient and Renewable Energy, and other resource conservation topics.

Summit County Recycling Drop Off Sites
  • There are  drop off yards available 24 hrs seven days a week in Breckenridge and Frisco.  Dillon, Silverthorne, and Summit Cove information below.
  • Please see Drop Off Location information specific to those sites. Here at SCRAP we supplement your needs with appliances, electronic recycling, household hazardous waste, oil and antifreeze, scrap metal, tires, and wood waste recycling.
  • While the materials accepted at the drop off centers are currently without charge, these other programs incur substantial costs. SCRAP operates primarily as a fee based enterprise fund, with some special-waste services supported by the Safety First mill levy to protect local water quality.
