OPERATIONS DIVISION:
Drug Task Force
- Budget = $200,000. All monies are generated from grant funding.
- 43 cases resulted in 41 arrests, 170 pounds of marijuana, 1/2 pound of cocaine, various small quantities of narcotics, 2 vehicles, $8,400 in seized cash.
(all figures are based on 2004 statistics.)
Emergency Management
- Implemented at the Sheriff's office in 2003.
- Establish plans and manage local emergency operations plan.
- Maintain emergency operations center.
- Coordinate Homeland Security and Colorado Emergency Management Performance grant among others.
- Coordinate local emergency planning committee.
- Implement and execute emergency preparedness exercises for Summit County.
Records Management
- Process all reports relating to any law incidents.
- Provide the District Attorney's Office with needed documentation for their use in prosecutions.
- Use of CCIC/NCIC/NIBRS databases
- Maintain Summit County SORI Sex Offender Registration Information.
