Board of Adjustment (BOA):


The BOA reviews certain types of development proposals, such as variances, to ensure their compatibility with County regulations.

The BOA meets regularly every 3rd Wednesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Buffalo Mountain Room, located in the County Commons Building (0037 County Road 1005, Frisco).

Countywide Planning Commission (CWPC):


The CWPC meets regularly every 1st Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Buffalo Mountain Room, located in the County Commons Building (0037 County Road 1005, Peak One Dr., Frisco).

The CWPC is comprised of representation from each basin planning commission, and at large county residents. The CWPC’s main task is to review amendments to County regulations and to make recommendations on countywide policies, such as the Countywide Comprehensive Plan.

Lower Blue Planning Commission (LBPC):


The LBPC provides land use and development recommendations specific to the Lower Blue Basin, located in the northern portion of Summit County.

The Basin extends from Dillon Dam on the south to the Summit County - Grand County line on the north.

The LBPC meets regularly every 1st Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at the Silverthorne Town Hall (601 Center Circle, Silverthorne).

Snake River Planning Commission (SRPC):


The SRPC provides land use and development recommendations specific to the Snake River Basin, located in the eastern portion of Summit County.

The Basin extends from Dillon Reservoir on the west to the Continental Divide on the east. The north and south boundaries are the Summit County - Clear Creek County line and the Upper Blue Basin boundary, respectively.

The SRPC meets regularly every 3rd Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at Dillon Town Hall (275 Lake Dillon Drive Dillon)

Ten Mile Planning Commission (TMPC):


The TMPC provides land use and development recommendations specific to the Ten Mile Basin, located in the western portion of Summit County.

The Basin extends from Dillon Reservoir on the north to Freemont Pass on the south. The east and west boundaries are the Ten Mile Range and the Summit County - Eagle County line, respectively.

The TMPC meets regularly every 2nd Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Buffalo Mountain Room, located in the County Commons Building (0037 County Road 1005, Frisco).

Upper Blue Planning Commission (UBPC):


The UBPC provides land use and development recommendations specific to the Upper Blue Basin, located in the southeast portion of Summit County.

The Basin extends from Dillon Reservoir on the north to Hoosier Pass on the south. The east and west boundaries are the Continental Divide and the Ten Mile Range, respectively.

The UBPC meets regularly every 4th Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the BOCC Meeting Room, located on the third floor of the County Courthouse (208 E. Lincoln Avenue, Breckenridge).
