The Summit County
Resource Allocation Park is a non-hazardous waste facility located two miles
north of Keystone, Colorado, 0.2 mile north of Highway 6, and is accessed via
Landfill Road on the north side of U.S. Hwy 6.
The landfill
serves all of Summit County and the surrounding area and is the only landfill
in Summit County.
Effective 1/1/11 additional $.90/ton surcharge applied to all
trash/landfill items collected under C.R.S. 25-16-104.5 and 6 CCR 1007-2 1.7
Beginning 4/1/11, the surcharge will increase to $1.30/ton.

Household and commercial solid wastes are accepted at this site.
Hazardous wastes, as defined in "Regulations Pertaining to Solid Waste Disposal Sites and
Facilities" will not be accepted at this facility.
The Summit County Resource Allocation Park is closed on the
following holidays: New Years Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day,
Thanksgiving and Christmas, Christmas Eve early closure.
There are intermittent closures due to weather; high winds or
lightning are the most common.
