G.I.S. Data Licensing Information

General Information

Resolution 2003 — 95, adopted by the Summit County Board of County Commissioners in December 2003, authorizes the licensing use of Summit County Government's Geographic Information System (GIS) data, and establishes a fee schedule for such licenses.

Summit County Government requires that parties acquiring GIS data execute a license agreement. The license agreement will require licensees’ compliance with certain restrictions on the use and dissemination of the GIS data as a condition of issuance of the license.
